GreenSteel Homes is proud to be actively participating in the reduction of carbon emissions coming from buildings, the world's largest producer of these harmful gasses. Utilizing steel as opposed to wood in the primary structure of our homes has a multiple positive impact: 1) fewer trees felled, 2) less construction site debris, 3) utilization of steel, a recycled product, 4) utilization of recycled and recyclable cementitious siding, and 5) a home that consumes significantly less energy.

 

GreenSteel Homes is also proud to be able to provide "Green Collar Jobs" to the marketplace, proving that "green" is good business. The GreenSteel Homes factory in Andalusia, Alabama will bring much needed jobs to that community. This initial hiring effort will be the first of what we hope will be many more positions related to the Green
Collar industry.
